Who is responsible for what, which roles the dashboard has, and how the figures are meant to be used.

BeeSensible supports privacy and security processes, but does not guarantee legal compliance. The customer remains responsible for its own processing and product use.
Roles
The customer is the controller for the use of BeeSensible within its own organisation. BeeSensible provides the tooling and the contractual basis as processor. A data processing agreement is signed with every customer.
Two organisation roles are relevant in the dashboard:
- Member: uses the browser extension and, if the organisation rolls it out, the desktop app.
- Admin: manages members, profiles, apps, and settings, and sees the figures.
BeeSensible itself has a platform role for managing organisations and subscriptions. That role does not see message content either, because none is stored anywhere.
How the figures are meant to be used
The dashboard is intended to help understand patterns and risks at organisation level. It is not intended for performance reviews, staff ranking, or hidden monitoring. That is more than an agreement: the behavioural data carries no user id and the dashboard has no per-employee view. See What we store, and what we don't.
Department insights
If an organisation wants figures per department, an admin switches on department insights. By default a minimum group size of 5 people then applies per visible department, which an admin can raise but not lower, together with a period of at least 7 days. Smaller departments are folded into "Other". If "Other" would contain only one department, the smallest visible department joins it, so a small figure can never be worked back out of the total.
There is an evaluation mode in which the controller deliberately sets a lower bound. That choice belongs to the organisation and to its conversation with the works council or the data protection officer. BeeSensible does not switch that mode on itself.
Accountability
The Accountability module is off by default and is switched on per organisation. It maps the same aggregated figures onto GDPR and NIS2 measures and shows per measure whether the figures carry it. It substantiates; it does not certify compliance.
