How BeeSensible works

BeeSensible highlights sensitive data while you type in supported web applications. The extension runs in Chrome and Edge.

#What you see

When BeeSensible recognizes something sensitive, two things happen:

1. The text gets a colored highlight in the input field.
2. A counter appears on the BeeSensible icon in the toolbar.

Neither changes the actual text in your message. Your draft stays exactly as you wrote it. The extension does not block sending and does not rewrite your text by itself.

#Where detection runs

The extension sends the text from the input field to the BeeSensible API for analysis. Detection runs within BeeSensible-managed infrastructure. The detection flow does not call external AI services such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.

#The side panel

Click the BeeSensible icon to review detected items. The panel shows each active detection with the data type, level, and available actions.
