BeeSensible highlights sensitive spans inline as you type in ChatGPT.

BeeSensible is a browser extension that highlights sensitive data while you type in supported web apps. It runs in Chrome and Edge.

What you see

When BeeSensible recognizes something sensitive, two things happen:

  1. The text gets a coloured highlight in the input field.
  2. A small counter appears on the BeeSensible icon in your browser toolbar.

Neither of these changes the actual text in your message. Your draft stays exactly as you wrote it. The extension does not block sending and does not rewrite your text.

Where detection runs

The extension sends the text to the BeeSensible API for analysis. The API runs on EU infrastructure (Scaleway in France; the detection model on Hetzner in Germany). All processing stays inside the EU.

The detection model is hosted by BeeSensible. Text is not sent to ChatGPT, Google, or any other third-party AI. Text is processed in memory and discarded immediately. It is not stored.

The side panel

Click the BeeSensible icon to open the side panel. The panel lists every active detection with the category, the severity, and three actions: remove, replace, or mask. Open and close the panel with the icon or with Escape.

Supported apps

BeeSensible works with the tools your team already uses, including major AI tools, mainstream email and chat applications, and several social platforms. Your admin configures which apps are covered. To see which apps are active in your session, open the side panel and click Settings.
