Getting started

Install the extension

Install BeeSensible in Chrome or Edge, sign in, and check that highlights work.

BeeSensible runs as a browser extension in Chrome and Edge. Installation takes about two minutes.

What you need

An invitation email from your organization's BeeSensible admin. If you have not received one, ask your IT or security team to send it.

Step 1: Open the invitation

Find the BeeSensible invitation email and click Install BeeSensible. The button takes you to the right extension page for your browser.

If the button does not work, copy the link and open it in the browser you use for work.

Step 2: Add the extension

  1. On the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons page, click Add to Chrome or Add to Edge.
  2. Confirm by clicking Add extension.
  3. The BeeSensible icon appears in your browser toolbar.

Step 3: Sign in

  1. Click the BeeSensible icon.
  2. Click Sign in with your organization.
  3. After signing in, you are returned to the extension and see a confirmation.

If sign-in fails, check that you are using the same email address your admin used to invite you.

Step 4: Check it works

Open one of the apps your organization has configured (for example, ChatGPT). Type a short message that contains a name or an email address. A coloured highlight should appear within a second or two.

If nothing highlights, click the BeeSensible icon and check that the extension is active on the page.

Updates

Extensions update automatically. You do not need to reinstall when a new version ships.
