BeeSensible works as a Chrome and Edge browser extension. Installation takes about two minutes.

What you need

An invitation email from your organization's BeeSensible admin. If you did not receive one, ask your IT or security team to resend it.

Step 1: Open the invitation

Find the BeeSensible invitation email and click Install BeeSensible. The button opens the right extension page for your browser.

If the button does not work, open the extension page directly:

Step 2: Add the extension

  1. Click Add to Chrome or Add to Edge in the Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons.
  2. Confirm by clicking Add extension.
  3. The BeeSensible icon is now in your extensions menu. Click the puzzle piece icon in the top right of your browser, find BeeSensible, and click the pin icon to pin it to your toolbar.

Step 3: Sign in

  1. Click the BeeSensible icon.
  2. Sign in with your organization account.
  3. After sign-in, you return to the extension and see a confirmation.

If sign-in does not work, check that you are using the same email address your admin invited.

Step 4: Check that it works

Open a supported app and type a short text with a recognizable sensitive value. A highlight should appear within a second or two.

No highlight? Click the BeeSensible icon and check that you are signed in and that the extension is active on this page.

Updates

Extensions update automatically. You do not need to reinstall anything when a new version is released.
