Organisation settings

The switches that decide what is measured and shown: team insights, language, Accountability and department insights.

On the Organisation page, below the member list, sits the Organisation settings block. Four switches there decide what gets measured and what you see back. They apply to the whole organisation.

Organisation in the dashboardClick your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Organisation.

The four settings

Organisation settings

SettingWhat it does
Team insightsCollects metadata about alerts: apps, data types and actions taken. Content is never stored.
Default languageThe language of invitation and sign-in emails to new team members.
Accountability dashboardShows what you can substantiate towards the GDPR and other frameworks. Uses existing data and collects nothing new.
Department insightsShows insights per department and lets you assign members.

With Team insights off, the clients send no detection events and the Insights screen stays empty. That is the switch deciding whether anything is measured at all.

Accountability dashboard turns on the Accountability menu item. See Accountability: what you can substantiate.

Department insights

Switch department insights on and a Manage departments button appears, along with a per-department card on Insights and Risk. The server stamps the department at the moment of measuring; who it was is not stored.

In Standard mode two limits apply. Departments with fewer people than the Minimum department size are combined under Other, and a department filter requires a period of at least 7 days. You can raise the minimum department size, not lower it.

That is not a throwaway warning. Switching this mode on is a decision by the controller and belongs in the conversation with your data protection officer or works council.

Deleting the organisation

At the bottom of the page sits Delete organisation. It schedules the organisation and all its data for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period. Members keep their personal accounts but lose access to this organisation. Invoices are kept, because the law requires it.

If you have an active subscription, cancel it first through Manage billing & invoices; without that the deletion does not go through. See Subscription and billing.

Choose Delete organisation

A confirmation dialog lists the consequences.

Type the organisation name

To confirm, the dialog asks for the exact name of your organisation.

Schedule the deletion

From then on the page shows Organisation scheduled for deletion with the date. Until that date you can go back with Cancel deletion.
