Newly discovered AI tools land in an inbox: approve, don't allow, or leave under review, with the recommended call already selected.

When someone opens an AI tool that is not yet in your catalogue, it lands in the Inbox as a newly discovered domain to triage. The Inbox is how the catalogue stays current without you hunting for new tools yourself. A badge in the navigation tells you when tools are waiting.

What each row shows

Each row is a newly seen tool with its domain, when it was first seen, and a small usage trend, so you can tell a one-off visit from something that is catching on.

What you do here

For each tool you make one call:

  • Approve it into the shared catalogue, so it is covered by policy from then on.
  • Disallow it, which applies the Not allowed policy and shows staff your safer alternatives.
  • Leave it under review while you gather more information.

You can also dismiss a domain that is not actually an AI tool, so it does not come back. Approving or disallowing a tool here is the same decision as in the Catalog; the Inbox just brings the new ones to you.

Why it matters

New AI tools appear constantly, often in waves after a launch or a news cycle. The Inbox turns that noise into a short, reviewable list, so nothing your team adopts stays invisible for long.
