Home: what is waiting for you
The four blocks on Home, the To do in AI Governance list, the setup steps and demo data during a trial.
Home is the first page you see as an administrator after signing in. At the top is what is waiting for a decision or an action from you, followed by the See, Help, Substantiate and Team blocks. Each block shows the same figures as the screen it links to, so Home tells you where to look next.

This block shows up to three rows. Each row has the same counter as the matching item in the menu and a button that takes you straight to the right list:
| Row | What it counts | Button |
|---|---|---|
| tools await a decision | Tools with no decision, used or declared in the last 30 days | Decide, which opens the Inbox |
| disallowed tools are still in use | Disallowed tools still visited in those 30 days | Follow up, which opens Not allowed in the register |
| tools in the register need attention | Entries you still need to complete, that are due for reassessment or have a document open | Go to the register, filtered on Needs attention |
Below the register row you see why the tools need attention, for example "3 to complete, 1 due for reassessment". A tool counts only once, even when there is more than one reason, so the parts do not always add up to the total. Because the block counts tools rather than people, it stays visible even below the privacy threshold.
See, Help and Substantiate
The AI tools block covers the last 30 days. It shows how many tools are in use, how many were newly discovered, what share of use goes through allowed tools and which allowed tools are used most. Go to Usage opens Insights > Usage.
The Sensitive data block counts, over the last 7 days, how often sensitive data was handled before sending and how often critical data was sent anyway. If your organisation uses Document Redaction, you also see how many documents were anonymised. Go to Sensitive data opens Insights > Sensitive data.
The Accountability over block shows the last full quarter, with one line per topic and the date of the latest report. You only see this block when Accountability is switched on for your organisation; Accountability explains how it works.
The Team block shows the number of active seats, meaning seats where someone has signed in from the extension or the desktop app.
The setup steps
The Get started block opens with the question How does BeeSensible reach your devices?, with the answers With Intune, With Group Policy and Everyone installs it themselves. The steps you see next depend on your answer, and you can change it later. Each step shows how far you have got, for example "12 of 40 installed by policy". After installation come steps in the product itself, such as making a first decision with Open the Inbox.
Once you have worked through the steps, choose Hide the setup steps. If you want to see them again, you can bring them back under Organisation > Central rollout. The steps themselves are explained in Managed rollout.
During a trial
A trial starts with an empty dashboard, because BeeSensible has not measured anything yet. During that period Home shows the trial steps and three extra options:
- Under Do you use these? you tick the AI tools you already use. They then appear in the Inbox with the Declared badge, but they count in none of the figures.
- Under What it will look like, Switch on demo data fills every insight with invented figures for a small business. Demo data runs only in your browser, saves nothing and sends no email. Switch off demo data takes you back to your own data.
- The Sandbox shows figures from 1 user on the threshold card for as long as you are the only active user, which means you see only your own data. The sandbox stops as soon as a colleague activates BeeSensible, and at the end of the trial at the latest.
